HVAC services
Repair, replacement and maintenance for every part of a home comfort system. Every job is quoted at a flat rate before work starts, carried out by a licensed technician, and backed by a 12-month guarantee on the repair.
Air Conditioning
Repair, tune-ups and full system replacement for central AC and ductless mini-splits.
When the house will not hold temperature, we start with a real diagnosis: static pressure, refrigerant charge, capacitor health and airflow across the coil. You get the reading, the cause and a flat-rate price before any work begins. Most repairs are finished the same day from parts stocked on the truck.
- Same-day diagnostics with the fault reading shown to you
- Flat-rate repair pricing quoted before we start
- High-efficiency replacements sized by Manual J load calculation
- Ductless mini-split installs for additions, garages and bonus rooms
Heating & Furnaces
Gas and electric furnace repair, safety inspections and high-efficiency installs.
No heat is an emergency, and we treat it like one. Our technicians carry ignitors, flame sensors, pressure switches, inducer motors and control boards for the furnace brands common in this area, so the repair usually happens on the first visit. Every heating call includes a combustion and carbon monoxide safety check at no extra charge.
- 24/7 emergency no-heat response, including weekends and holidays
- Free carbon monoxide and combustion safety check on every heating call
- 96%+ AFUE furnace installs with permits and inspection handled
- Honest repair-or-replace advice with the numbers behind it
Heat Pumps
Cold-climate heat pump installs, dual-fuel conversions and defrost-cycle repairs.
Modern cold-climate heat pumps hold capacity well below freezing, and they heat and cool from one outdoor unit. We size them properly, set the balance point correctly on dual-fuel systems, and walk you through the federal and utility incentives you qualify for before you sign anything.
- Cold-climate inverter systems rated for sub-zero operation
- Dual-fuel setups that switch to gas at the right balance point
- Defrost board, reversing valve and inverter-drive repairs
- We file the rebate and tax-credit paperwork with you
Indoor Air Quality
Whole-home filtration, humidity control, duct sealing and ventilation.
Dust that returns two days after cleaning, dry winter air, a room that never feels right: these are usually filtration, humidity or duct problems rather than equipment problems. We measure before we recommend, then fix the cause instead of selling an air purifier that treats a symptom.
- MERV 13 and MERV 16 whole-home media filtration cabinets
- Steam and bypass humidifiers, plus whole-home dehumidification
- Duct leakage testing and interior duct sealing
- Fresh-air ventilation and ERV installs for tight new builds
Maintenance Plans
Two precision tune-ups a year, priority scheduling and 15% off repairs.

Service questions, answered plainly
Sizing, timing, service intervals and what our estimates actually cost.
How often should HVAC equipment be serviced?
Service cooling equipment once a year in spring and heating equipment once a year in fall, so a combined system needs two visits per year. Annual maintenance keeps most manufacturer warranties valid, catches failing capacitors and ignitors before they strand you, and typically keeps the system 5 to 15 percent more efficient than a neglected one. Change a one-inch filter every 60 to 90 days between visits.
How long does a furnace or AC installation take?
A straight replacement of a furnace or air conditioner in an existing home takes ClimaCore about six to eight hours, and a full changeout of both takes one full day. Adding new line sets, converting to a heat pump, or modifying ductwork can extend the job to two days. We confirm the schedule in writing and leave the home clean and conditioned the same day.
What size heating and cooling system do I need?
The correct size comes from a Manual J load calculation, which accounts for square footage, insulation levels, window area and orientation, ceiling heights and local design temperatures. Oversized equipment short-cycles, fails to remove humidity and wears out early, so ClimaCore performs a load calculation on every replacement rather than simply matching the size of the old unit.
Do heat pumps work in cold weather?
Yes. Modern cold-climate inverter heat pumps deliver useful heat well below freezing, and many hold rated capacity down to 5°F, with backup heat engaging only in extreme conditions. In our service area a properly sized cold-climate heat pump covers the large majority of the heating season on its own. Dual-fuel systems pair a heat pump with a gas furnace and switch over at the balance point where gas becomes cheaper.
What does a maintenance plan include?
The ClimaCore Comfort Plan is $19 per month or $199 per year for one system. It includes two 21-point precision tune-ups a year, priority scheduling ahead of non-members, 15 percent off any repair, no after-hours surcharge on emergency calls, and a written condition report with photos after every visit. Additional systems are $12 per month each.
Do you charge for estimates?
In-home estimates for system replacement are always free with no obligation. Repair diagnostics are a flat $89 during business hours and $149 for emergency after-hours calls, and the diagnostic fee is waived when you approve the repair on the same visit. Indoor air quality assessments are $99 and are credited toward any installation.
